Jamie-Leigh & Jose’

REQUEST THE HONOUR OF YOUR PRESENCE AT OUR WEDDING CELEBRATION

Please RSVP by 30th July 2026.

Failure to RSVP by this date will be taken as a NO.

Our Story

Like many great love stories, ours started in the most unexpected place: a party. Only in this case, the girl made the first move.

We met at a party in Johannesburg, where what started as a simple introduction quickly turned into hours of conversation. There was an easy connection from the start, the kind that makes you feel like you’ve known someone much longer than you actually have.

Shortly after, in true modern fashion, José asked for Jamie’s number, and our story continued in the digital world. Messages turned into calls, calls turned into dates, and before we knew it, we were becoming a big part of each other’s lives.

Over the years, we’ve grown so much together. From travelling back and forth to Johannesburg and Pretoria just to spend time together, to University days, and graduations, to first job drop-offs and celebrating milestones, we’ve been side by side through it all. What started as “come over” slowly and naturally became “come home.”

Nine years later, we’re still choosing each other, and it finally felt like the right time to make it official.

Our journey wouldn’t be the same without the incredible family and friends who have supported us, celebrated with us, and stood by us from the very beginning. We are so grateful to have you all in our lives, and we cannot imagine starting this next chapter without sharing it with the people who mean the most to us.

Dress Code

We invite our guests to embrace a formal dress code inspired by timeless elegance. Think refined, sophisticated, and dress to impress.

To create a beautiful and cohesive atmosphere, we’ve included a colour palette below for inspiration. We encourage guests to draw from these tones where possible.

Kindly avoid wearing white, as this colour will be reserved for the bride.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style.

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL

Our wedding will take place at Lace on Timber.

As the venue is approximately 1 hour and 9 minutes (90.5 km) from Johannesburg, we encourage guests to carpool or arrange nearby accommodation so everyone can travel comfortably and enjoy the celebration.

For safety and convenience, we recommend avoiding late-night travel back to Johannesburg where possible. A few nearby accommodation options are listed below to help make planning easier.
